Hi guys! Hope you had a great weekend! So, do you want in on a secret? You can make virtually anything–I mean anything–look expensive with gold spray paint. In case you’ve been living under a rock (and speaking of rocks, did you know they look surprisingly chic when painted gold?) gold is still trending in the design world. As far as metallics go, I’d say it’s gold in the lead, followed closely by copper and rose-gold, with silvery tones in last place. Yep, you can make even the lowliest objects look super-expensive when you give them the Midas touch.
I’m dead serious. I’ve tried this trick using several things around our house–like a basic lamp base from Target, an el-cheapo ceramic elephant, and furniture hardware–and I’m amazed at the transformation every time.
