Simple St. Patrick’s Day Decor

March 2, 2015 by Valerie Ott 2 Comments

simple st patrick's day ideas

Hey guys! How is your Monday going? We spent the weekend catching up on work, grocery shopping, getting a jump on the laundry, and staring disconsolately out at the snow. Nothing too exciting. With only three weeks to go until the official start of spring, it’s hard not to think about how much we miss green. So I pulled together some ideas for decorating for St. Patrick’s Day that are heavy on the green, and light on leprechauns and rainbows. Check out these sophisticated, stylish (and cheap!) ways to decorate your home that will have all Irish eyes a-smilin’.

So glad you did beautiful velvet ribbon on candles. I had some red paper on my candles on coffee table for Valentines but they've been looking pretty sad all naked. Think we're going to town tomorrow so I'll get myself some pretty green velvet ribbon. Have coupons for Michaels, Hobby Lobby, and JoAnn's so will see which store has best selection. Need to get paper for a project I found on Lia Griffith's blog. If you haven't ever been on her blog you don't know what you're missing. I am so amazed at the exceptional talents so many bloggers like yourself have. I love look of simple velvet ribbon on white candles with the pearl pins which i Have some of also. Happy week
