Good morning! Are you a garage saler? I SO am. Last week, our neighborhood held its annual sales and the merchandise was…eh. Not awesome. But then! At the last minute, I scored this awesome toolbox and some wooden trays (which I’m still working on). But I had an immediate idea for the toolbox (or is it a tackle box…I’m not sure), so I got out the spray paint and transformed it.
While the bright green could be fun, it was pretty beat up, and not exactly what I was going for. So I painted the whole thing London Gray (Rustoleum) and then taped it off to spray the lock and handle gold for a bit of glam. I just love it! It’s the perfect way to store my desk supplies since I don’t have drawers. Oh…and I should probably mention that it cost 50 cents, and the spray paint was left over from other projects so…pretty thrifty, eh?
