Toy Storage Ideas

May 6, 2014 by Valerie Ott Leave a Comment

Hey, hey! This post is going up a little late today. Just kinda discombobulated today.

So, Jamielyn from I Heart Naptime (you all know her, right?) recently teamed up with Homegoods to bring us five unique ways to store toys for a functional, beautiful play area. I featured her tips for creating a play space on About.com, and went on to give several other ideas for stylish toy storage that you can have right out in the open and be alright with that.

Check out the article for more stylish toy storage accessories like this garden stool flipped upside down to use as ball storage…smart!

Here’s another idea for you…and maybe you’ve seen this one before, but I just had to share because it has been a game-changer for us. Many years ago, I attached some casters to old dresser drawers for under-the-bed-storage for our daughter and we still use the heck out of ’em. I just love that we can roll ’em out, fill ’em up, and hide ’em away again. I’m thinking this same idea would work well in a living room, too…under a coffee table, or the TV stand? Hey, if you live with kids, then you know there’s never enough places to stash stuff.
