Hey, hey! How are you? Have a good weekend? I wish I could say we did something fun and exciting but nah…just more hanging around the house and wishing winter was over. On the bright side, I think we might finally be ready to move forward with our kitchen. I haven’t updated you in a long time about it because, well, we haven’t done too much. Our floor has been done since last May, and we did get a countertop at Thanksgiving. I’m going to show you how that looks with our new sink next month. I’m hoping to have our cabinets painted before I show you, though. So next on our agenda is to finish mud-ing and sanding the walls so we can TILE. Ya’ll, I don’t know how to convey how excited I am about this step. (Of course I say that about every step.) But seriously, I’ve never lived in a house with a real backsplash. And I. Can’t. Wait. I think I’ll feel like the Queen of Sheba to have tile in our kitchen. Like we have a grown-up house.
So anyway, we’re going with white subway tile and stained open shelving. Wouldn’t these planters look sa-weet! on them? Adding them to my list. Thanks, Carolyn’s Homework for sharing these great stenciled planters!
