Hi! Happy Monday! Do you like Mondays or loathe them? I don’t mind ’em. I kinda like getting back into the routine of the week. And I’m one of those weird people that likes working. I like feeling productive. Speaking of working, I got a tiny bit of spring cleaning done Saturday. I didn’t set out to do it. In fact, I had just made a cup of coffee and was going to sit down and blog a bit when the kids started pulling cushions off of the couch to make a pirate ship. (Yeah, I dunno.) When I saw all of the popcorn under the cushions, I got the vacuum out. Then I opened the front door to let some sunshine in. Then I opened a window to air out the house a little. Then something happened to me, and I went crazy moving furniture, shaking out rugs, and dusting baseboards. You know that moment when you don’t just logically know that spring is coming, but you feel it, too? Ah, I needed that. I did quit at one point and went back to my ice-cold cup of coffee; but, a dent was made. Amazing what you can see when the sun shines! Not only the dust and the dirty windows, but something more, too.
With spring in mind, I’m sharing Stacy’s pretty spring picture frame from Not Just a Housewife. I just love this simple project, and know the kids will have fun collecting twigs with me when the snow melts. I even have some moss and little wreaths with blue eggs, so all I need is the cheap frame! I’m doin’ it! Thanks, Stacy, for the inspiration!
