Hey, hey! Happy MLK Day! I hope you’re enjoying a nice, long weekend. We visited family in Columbus and are now home doing laundry and trying to get organized for the rest of the week.
For a lot of reasons, we recently found ourselves in dire need of a proper office space in our home. First off, my husband started his own construction business and needed a place to work. And since the business is now something we’re not just dabbling in, but hoping to grow into a full-time family business, I’ve needed to help him with the books. Our dining room table has been command central, but that just isn’t practical. So we definitely needed a proper desk with filing cabinets and everything else. PLUS, I’ve recently been hired as a freelance writer/editor (more on that later). Needless to say, organization is the name of the game these days. I haven’t figured out how to balance motherhood, blogging, a home-based business, and my new role as a part-time freelancer yet. I’m constantly struggling with how to spend my time; but, we are excited about all of these changes nevertheless.
Anyway, I’ll be sharing how our desk project turned out tomorrow. Today, I wanted to show you guys these awesome bulletin boards made from embroidery hoops by A Night Owl. Aren’t they so great? I may have to make some of these in our never-ending quest to stay organized!
