Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend. We had a good one, although we had a sudden change in plans that caused us to shift gears a bit. But the upside was, we made some more progress in our kitchen. My husband tore down our ceiling! What?! Yep, we are staring at the rafters right now. More on that another day. (If you want a recap on our progress, follow the journey here, here, here & here.)
Are the mornings chilly where you are? Fall is around the corner! I love cable knit, don’t you? There’s something so cozy about it. So I thought I’d round up some great ways to use old sweaters if you have some laying around. And if you don’t, these ideas will give you an excuse to go to Goodwill!

Make your pillows cozier–Dishfunctional Designs
Give a votive fall “flare”–Family Chic
Fashion some boot socks–Being Mom(Me)
Make a housewarming gift, ahem, warmer—HGTV
Slip a sleeve on a vase…or a lampshade for that matter–Thrifty & Chic
Make a cozy cuff for a friend–Organize & Decorate Everything
Fuzzy-up your frame–Smallgood Hearth
Don’t you just want to grab a hot mug of tea and a good book now? Hope you have a great week! Until next time…

Great ideas! Should consider these before giving away my old ones. 🙂 Thanks!
It's made me think long and hard about my Goodwill bag, too. 🙂
