Hey there, how was your weekend? Ours was kinda lazy. Didn’t get a whole lot accomplished except for some small odds and ends. We always seem to feel better come Monday when we’ve had a great balance of work and play on the weekends, but for the last couple of weeks we’ve been bums. We’ll feel a surge of energy soon, I expect; but for now, I guess we’re in need of some recharging.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready for school to start yet. This summer has just flown by, and I’m really enjoying the no-schedule thing. We sleep later, take lots of walks, eat lots of ice cream (sometimes even before dinner!), and grill almost every night. But nevertheless, the stores have back-to-school stuff front and center, reminding me that it’s around the corner. The craft I’m sharing with you today is such an easy and stylish way to corral all of your kids’ newly-sharpened pencils and various other school supplies. Rebecca at The Crafted Sparrow saved some tin cans, covered them with washi, and voila! Now you can keep the essentials front and center for when it’s homework time again.
