Craft of the Week: Updated Dollar Store Buckets

July 16, 2013 by Valerie Ott 5 Comments

Hey, hey! I am so behind the eight ball today. We had a fantastic-fun weekend, and now I’m paying for it. The laundry is piling up, the bills need to be paid, and yet…I’m choosing to blog at 11:43 pm. So this has to be quick because I really do need to fold some clothes.

Speaking of quick, this craft seems relatively simple and speedy. Just Vintage Home sprayed some buckets she found at the dollar store, then numbered them for super-cute storage. I have a thing for storage containers. Sometimes I buy them and have no idea what I’m gonna put in ’em. I’m so tempted to make some buckets like these, but what would I use them for? Hmmm…flower pots? Craft supplies? Makeup brushes?

Suggestions?

depending on how big they are, and how much room you have in your front yard, I would used them as flower pots with my house numbers. In view of street so your house is easier to find when you give someone directions. anyway, that's what I's do 🙂

Thanks for choosing my buckets for your Craft Of the Week! How fun!

How 'bout storing clothespins, Tide Pods, loose change, soap, dishwashing sponges, all those pesky little things that sit on a counter until they find a home, stacked wash rags… I never really sat down and thought about the uses, but they're endless!

I love the idea of using them for flower pots with your house numbers! That dang dollar store is so addicting!
