Craft of the Week: 6 Things to Do with a Lazy Susan

July 8, 2013 by Valerie Ott Leave a Comment

What a weekend! We had our annual 4th of July bash, and it was great. No rain, spectacular fireworks, fun friends and family, and awesome food. We got to the beach once, played a little putt-putt, and I even got a nap on the deck after reading the latest issue of Country Living cover to cover. Now that our party is over, I’m feeling a bit lazy. Projects await, but the beautiful thing is, I don’t feel the pressure of a deadline right now.

Speaking of lazy…do you have any lazy susans around? I’ve rounded up 6 things to do with one. If you don’t have one, never fear…it’s garage sale season and these things always seem to pop up. Seems no one really uses them anymore; but, I’m predicting a comeback thanks to Pinterest reviving their popularity! Case in point:

Make a fondue serving tray with chalkboard paint (My Home My Style)

Make an art supply caddy with the help of some soup cans (Being Home)

Decorate one for a chic staging piece in your kitchen (Whipperberry)

Use one in the fridge for easier access to condiments (Just Imagine)

Make some DIY art (Bliss Ranch)

Make a jewelry holder (Made by Stephie)

See what I mean? I’m always astounded at all of the creativity out there. I mean, who would’ve thought there was more than just a couple ways to use one of these? Until next time…
