Craft of the Week: Patriotic Burlap Table Runner

June 17, 2013 by Valerie Ott 1 Comment

Good morning! I hope you all had a great Father’s Day weekend. We had a nice mix of hanging around the house and getting projects done, and visiting with neighbors and friends. We topped it off with a fantastic meal: steak with tempered butter, corn on the cob, potato salad, and strawberry hand pies. My husband got to golf a couple of times, too, which made him very happy. And the kiddos spent hours on the new tree swing.

Later this week, I’m going to share a project I worked on this weekend. It was inspired by this table runner by Domestically Speaking. Isn’t this cute? Simple to make, and the perfect addition to a picnic table. As I’ve mentioned several times, we have a BIG Fourth of July bash each year, so I’m always on the lookout for tasteful, pretty decorations. This one is right up my alley. (My project does involve a picnic table, but no fabric. Can’t wait to show you!)

Have a wonderful day…I think we’re going to hit up the beach club this afternoon now that the weather is finally hot. Until tomorrow…
