Well hello there, strangers! Gosh, it seems like forever since I’ve been with you, but it’s actually only been about a week. I hope you all had a fantastic holiday weekend. Ours was jam-packed (as usual) with family, barbecues, and our town’s parade. Plus, our eldest has come down with yet another ear infection (this is her third in about six weeks) so we’re trying to get to the bottom of that. On a positive note, we finally have a computer. I’m sad to report that the problem with our old one was due to our motherboard, so a new one had to be purchased and all of our data had to be transferred, and if you’ve had to do this before…you feel my pain.
So, I’m finally jumping on today to bring you a Craft of the Week. House by Hoff has made the greatest planters using two trends: rope-wrapping, and paint-dipping. Aren’t they cute? They look simple and inexpensive, too, which make them perfect for me! I’m loving these for our deck; but, they may just have to wait until next year. Our annual 4th of July bash is just a month away, and we still have mulch to spread in all of the flower beds, a kitchen that’s completely under construction, and well…you get the point. Can you tell I’m feeling overwhelmed?
Hope you’re enjoying the start of summer…I’m hoping to join you in that enjoyment very soon!
