Craft of the Week: Faux Coral

February 11, 2013 by Valerie Ott Leave a Comment

Good morning! Hope you had a great weekend…we sure did! Lots of time spent together as a family, some more kitchen demo, and even a date night thrown in. My husband and I went to see Silver Linings Playbook. Have any of you seen it yet? We weren’t sure we were gonna like it at first but the ending was great. It was definitely “a departure” (as they say) for Bradley Cooper.

So anyway, on to the real reason you read this blog. Have you guys tried The Inspiration Board yet? It’s very fun. I made a board for our master bedroom, which I’ll share sometime soon, but in so doing, I stumbled across an old post from Home Stories A to Z and found this great idea for making coral. Have you priced these? Wow, why are they so expensive? I noticed that even at TJ Maxx one little guy was almost $15. So that’s why I love this idea, and I’m gonna make some for our bedroom when I get around to decorating up there. Curtains should probably come first, though, don’t ya think?
