Hey, hey! Welll, about this time of year I start to spend an exorbitant amount of time thinking about food. What’s the Thanksgiving menu? What cookies are we baking this year? Is it time to try a new stuffing? And what about that new cheesecake recipe? Ok, you get the idea.
In that vein, I LOVE–I mean LOVE–giving away edible things as gifts. To me, food is love. Cooking it, sharing it, packing it all up in a pretty bundle…it just makes me happy to give and receive gifts such as these. ‘Cause when you get a basket of goodies, like a bottle of wine, some cheese, crackers, and some other nosh-happy stuff, don’t you just wanna invite over a friend or neighbor to share it? Sharing food begets more sharing of food, if you catch my drift.
So in trolling the some of my favorite stores for some packaging items, I decided to throw together a few gift ideas for you. You know you’re always in need of a last-minute gift for a hostess, neighbor, or teacher, right? Right now, before things get too crazy, would be a great time to stock up on a few of these items to save yourself a headache on December 22. I should take my own advice.
