Hello, there! Ever have one of those mornings when you just can’t get out of the starting gates? Havin’ one. Hopefully things are going to improve though. Just spent some time on the phone with our internet service provider and they seemed to have fixed a problem with our DNS server that has been plaguing me for quite some time. Fingers crossed.
Today I wanted to show you the bracelets I recently made for my mom and sister-in-law. I’d never tried my hand at making jewelry before, unless you count macaroni necklaces I made with the kiddos. I copied this idea from Pitter & Glink, where Bethany offers a great tutorial.
Suede & Silver Bracelets
Nap Rating = 1 nap for about oh, I don’t know…5 or 6 bracelets
I’d offer you my own instructions, but I followed these exactly, so there hardly seems to be a point. The hardest part for me was trying to find the right supplies. I couldn’t locate silver rings that were pretty enough, so I ended up buying a chain from Jo-Anns and taking it apart with pliers. Surprisingly, the individual rings look exactly like the ones in Bethany’s picture, so that may have been what she did as well. What a co-wink-ee-dink!
